Terms & Conditions
* All booking fee payments are non-refundable.
* A 100% charge will be made for no-show appointments
* All returning guests who failed to attend an appointment will have to pay their outstanding balance and pre-pay in full for their next appointment. We completely understand that things can happen at the last minute and can assure you that we will be sympathetic.
* Late to your appointments anybody over 10 minutes late for an appointment will need to reschedule and a new booking fee will need to be paid to secure your booking
* Before booking your colour appointment it is extremely important and your responsibility to inform us if you have not been skin tested or had a permanent colour with me within the last six months. If not, it is your responsibility to visit the salon at least 48 hours prior to your appointment so that this can be done for you. It is also your responsibility to inform us if you have had any previous reactions to colouring in the past, whether it be from a home colour kit or in a salon. It is necessary, to be honest about any previous incidents in order for me to do my best to protect you.
* All new clients, customers who want a colour change or customers that haven’t had a colour service in the last 6 months at Katieannelizabeth_hair will need to attend a complimentary consultation it’s your responsibility, to be honest about all previous hair treatments and colours as this could affect the end product.. a skin and strand test will be performed which needs to be at least 48hrs prior to your appointment.
* The Hairdressers accept no responsibility for lost or stolen belongings whilst on the premises.
* The Hairdressers accept no responsibility for the damage to jewellery or clothing, especially during perming, cutting or colouring. Every reasonable precaution is taken to protect clothing and jewellery with gowns, and towels. It is recommended that any jewellery is removed.
* While we endeavour to ensure the contents of the site are accurate, errors or omissions may occur and we do not accept any liability in respect of them.
* We reserve the right to change or amend our prices without notification.
Bridal TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Agreement: is between the artist & The Client for the entire booking
The Fee: The amount payable by the Client (in full) to the Artist for the services listed below
The Party: Members of the bridal party, ie Bride, Bridesmaids, Mother of bride/groom and Guest(s)( if applicable), Client
Packages for Clients, Bridal parties & on the day hair & makeup are the services we DO provide. TRIAL ONLY IS NOT A SERVICE WE PROVIDE
a) Trial/on the day.
1. “Trial only” is not the service we provide for our clients.
2. Trials are carried out 4/5weeks before booking.
3. Clients are expected to stay for the duration of the trial. 1-2 dependant on hairstyle
4. Parental consent is required for those under 16 years of age.
5. We do ask that payments for our services are dealt with at the trial and paid in full & are NON REFUNDABLE – payment methods, Cash / Bank transfer, we cannot turn the appointment into a trial only.
6. Trial appointments are in the week only & must be on one day
7. Trial appointments are kept within the time slot allocated, if there is an instance of excessive time over on a booking there will be an admin surcharge of £25 payable at trial
8. Spectators at the trial are chargeable
b) Health & Safety
1. If anyone is excessively intoxicated we will not style hair.
2. We ask that children do not sit on laps when we are doing hair & makeup
3. We do have a no smoking policy when we are working.
4. We kindly ask that any pictures of your trial do not appear on social media, this is so that we can protect the privacy & safety of our clients.
5. Illness such as Influenza, Coronavirus, Stomach Bugs, Psoriasis, Impetigo, or Conjunctivitis, you MUST let us know of this so we can make arrangements to rearrange the trial.
6. In the event of anyone having or has had any contagious and /or viral illnesses, you must advise of this before your trial and reschedule the appointment if necessary. We have the right to refuse hair on the day if this puts our artists at risk.
7. On the wedding day, we do require a place to work, a chair with plug sockets.
8. Acts of god provisions, also called “Force Majeure”, relate to events outside human control, like flash floods, extreme weather conditions, snow, earthquakes, or other natural disasters. We cannot take responsibility for these and we are unable to offer any refunds or travel to the venue if the MET office has issued an Amber or Red warning.
9. We are unable to offer any refunds in the event of a Coronavirus Pandemic or any other Pandemic or Epidemic and/or the client cancels the booking.
10. All your personal information is kept confidential and in line with GDPR legislation.
11. Anyone under the age of 16, or anyone who has learning difficulties, or who is physically disabled must have an appropriate adult to accompany them on the entire booking trial and wedding day.
c) Payments.
1. Booking fee of typically £50 or £65 (£100 for Bridal parties over 7) is a reservation fee for the wedding day and is non-refundable.
2. The hair service we provide is not transferable to another Bride.
3. If the client cancels and wishes to re-book another booking fee of £50 will be required for makeup and £50 for hair Only the NEW booking fee will be offset against the balance
4. If the booking changes to Bride only with no other Bridal Party members on the day there will be a minimum charge of £250
5. After a successful trial, i.e. the signed hair chart and the client changes their mind after the appointment, we accept NO responsibility for this and will not be able to offer any refunds, we are able to offer 1 further re-trial at £85 per person.
6. Wedding Day Time has been agreed between The artist and the Client at the trial and time arrangements have been allocated on the Wedding day, as this date has been secured by the booking reservation fee, we are unable to book anyone else in for this date.
7. We are not able to offer any refunds if you cancel the booking for any reason or the number of people having hair reduces.
8. We do ask that payments for our services are dealt with at the trial and paid in full – payment methods, Cash / Bank transfer, no credit facilities or payment plans are accepted as payment methods.
9. Any Bridal party members not having hair i.e. which is not paid for at trial. We are not able to assist with hair for free on the wedding day, we do charge for any hair work we carry out. A comprehensive list of prices will be displayed on the wedding day. Payment for this is required on the day of the wedding by cash/ bank transfer before hair work is carried out and is non-refundable.
10. Cheques are not accepted as a method of payment.
11. Spectators (none Bridal party members) at the trial are £25 per person payable on top of the package.
12. Abuse of any sort will not be tolerated and the artist has the right to cancel the booking completely without a refund.
13. If the wedding date changes i.e. due to Covid or any other postponements or cancellations, YOU MUST liaise with the artist before booking a new date, failure to do so resulting in The artist being unable to accommodate your booking means no refunds will be given.
14. A £15 admin fee will be charged to the client if, after a successful trial i.e. signed hair chart, there are ANY changes to the hair.
15. If the client cancels the booking ie trial/wedding day and the trial falls 6 weeks or less than 6 weeks. The FULL amount of the Package is payable to the artist.
16. Lateral flow tests and or PCR tests will only be done if artists are feeling unwell or come into contact with anyone who has covid. Only then will these tests be done.
17. Once invoiced i.e. this Confirmation, any reduction in numbers of styling, the full amount as stipulated is still payable any additional persons must be added and paid for at the time of trial.
18. When the booking fee is paid and we attempt to contact you 3 times without success via text/WhatsApp/email/ social media we will cancel your booking completely without refund. It is vitally important we are able to communicate with you throughout your booking.
19. We will provide the wedding morning service from the allocated venue which means 1 venue on the morning of the wedding. We are unable to offer 2 venue allocations on the day, we will offer one venue allocation with assistance from another artist at an extra £95 to ensure smooth running for the day preparations.
20. For bookings Bride plus 4 and over or you can’t get into your venue until a later time another artist is required at an extra £95.
